US House of Representatives passes bill on Russian oil imports ban

WASHINGTON, Mar 10 (PRIME) -- The U.S. House of Representatives has voted for a bill forbidding oil and energy resources imports from Russia, according to the poll results released on Thursday.

The bill was supported by 414 votes and turned down by 17 votes.

The document also stipulates a call on the U.S. trade representative in the World Trade Organization (WTO) to raise the question of revising preferences for Russia and suspending its membership.
